Well...the timing was perfect the location was amazing and the time together with others was perfect. Then we had a few sessions that I believe were very helpful and impactful. I am not a tech guy, but I know Matt shared some stuff I need to grow in. The one on one was much needed...to pour out our hearts knowing there was no judgement and only love and support, which is just what we needed. The advice you shared has been an ongoing conversation and opened our eyes so wide! I loved what Rob had to share and once again honest, real and relevant for ministry. I know if I did not have this time of REST I would be not facing the trials I am with my head up and heart open. I was getting bitter, cranky and it was not helpful for me, my family or ministry. This was exactly what I (i think Chrystal also...wish she could have been there the whole time) needed to prepare my heart, mind and soul for "what's next".

Very relevant and helpful. We are pretty green in ministry, and we've had a bit of a rough start in our current church. We were grateful for the time to rest, take some time away, spend time with God and together, and be encouraged to network with a few other pastor's in similar contexts.
